About Creative Currents

Culture’s Compass was a one-day event designed to support, connect, and empower emerging creatives across disciplines. Developed through Humber Galleries and the Centre for Creative Business Innovation (CCBI), the event brought together workshops, panels, and networking opportunities that centered on artistic sustainability, creative direction, and community building. Set against the backdrop of Toronto’s vibrant arts scene, Culture’s Compass acted as a guidepost for early-career artists navigating the evolving landscape of cultural work. Through open conversation, shared tools, and intentional connection, we aimed to map new pathways forward — together.
